PitPat uses a CR1632 coin cell, available from supermarkets and online. It should last for a year, depending on use. When the battery is flat, the button won’t flash when you press it.
To change the battery, remove the four screws to open your PitPat. Replace the battery, making sure it is the right way around. Gently tighten the screws until the plastics meet, taking care not to overtighten. With the built in seal, PitPat will remain waterproof, although we can’t guarantee this after you have changed the battery yourself.
